So, we offer different grades of threadlock for different applications. Use medium strength for items that will be dissembled again and high strength where disassembly isn’t planned, like structural fasteners and suspension parts. As well as keeping fixings secure, threadlock will help prevent corrosion on threads.
Also, we offer Bolt Marking, used to indicate fixings haven’t become loose, assembly location and evidence of disassembly or tampering.
Here's our tips on using threadlock:
- Clean & degrease both threads thoroughly
- Apply a couple of drops of threadlock on the male thread, where the nut will sit.
- Fit & tighten the nut to the correct torque figure
- Use normal hand tools to undo the fixings. If high strength threadlock has been used, carefully apply heat to the fixings before disamenbly.
