NEW RESTRICTOR KITS FOR EURO 5 BIKES NOW AVAILABLE

We have many new models of A2 compliant restrictor kits available specifically for later bikes built to Euro 5 emission standards introduced in 2021.

On such bikes, more sophisticated engine management often using ‘ride by wire’ throttle control is needed to meet tighter emissions standards. It’s no surprise A2 restrictor kits also need to be more sophisticated to work in harmony with the bike’s electronics and maintain emissions compliance.

To do this our Alpha Technik restrictors feature an additional ‘plug & play’ electronic module to interface with the throttle body ensuring A2 compliance and maintaining excellent rideability. The modules match OE connections, so no permanent changes are made. This means the bike can be returned to full power when a unrestricted A licence is gained, or the bike is sold. Full instructions with pictures identifying components and loom plug locations are included.

We have over 40 electronic Alpha Technik kits available for Euro 4 & 5 models and hundreds of mechanical kits for earlier bikes that start from as little as £44.60 trade price ex-VAT. Remember, that to comply with A2 legislation the bike must not exceed 70kW (approx. 95bhp) when originally manufactured. A 3-part certificate for the suppling/fitting dealer to complete is included, with sections for dealer, customer & insurance company records.
