When you are checking valve clearances, you don’t know what shims you will need in advance. And while we can ship a vast range of shims for next day delivery, it’s ideal to have the shims you need to hand.

That’s why we offer JMP Shim Kits in a range of popular sizes. Each kit come with 3 shims of each size and kits cover Ø7.5mm, Ø8.9mm, Ø9.5mm and Ø10mm shims in alternate thicknesses that fit a huge range of bikes – everything from Beta to Yamaha covering European & Japanese brands. Of course, we offer replacement shims, so you can replenish the set and keep prepared for the next valve service.

With these kits you can complete the job, bill the work and get the bike out of your workshop and back with the customer- all on the same day. Cash flow, workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction all benefit.
