The JMP Battery Monitor 2 is now available in two versions: the original for Lead Acid/Gel Batteries and a new version specifically for Lithium batteries.

The JMP Battery Monitor is a great addition to any bike. It constantly monitors battery health and state of charge whether riding or parked. Built-in Bluetooth connectivity links to a free App (Android & Apple versions available) meaning the battery can be checked remotely, alerts can be set to warn of low battery charge and historical data can be downloaded as a spreadsheet. The monitor also allows quick checking of the starter and charging systems without even removing a side panel.
 
With a Bluetooth range of up to 10m, it’s easy to keep an eye on battery charge - making it ideal for bikes that are only occasionally used. It’s as simple to fit as to use, being supplied with forked eyelets so battery terminals only need to be slightly loosened to connect. The unit is fully protected against reverse polarity, has a very low power consumption and can help protect against battery damage due to over-charging, which is particularly important with a Lithium battery.
